Timber Creek Campground in Rocky Mountain National Park

Good on wildlife; poor on privacy - campsites too close. Anyway, very convenient to explore the western area of the national park in my stay of five days. Every day a mother and its baby came to eat by my camp. Humans were safe for these elks compared to the rut mess of the rest of the Kawuneeche Valley. Clever mom.
