Middle Saint Vrain Trail

| The trail with St. Vrain Mountain on the right (Colorado). |
The trailhead was right neighboring our campsite at Camp Dick in Roosevelt National Forest. Very convenient. ~12 miles walked (up to the log bridge to access Red Deer Lake). These were old logging routes. A couple of waterfalls of St. Vrain Creek on the way. Magnificent views of the naked cliffs of St. Vrain Mountain (12,162 feet) and Sawtooth Mountain (12,290 feet). The path keeps going up to the St. Vrain Glacier in Indian Peak Wilderness Area. Just a few people over there. Tired.
