Hike to Lost Lake From the Hessie Trailhead

Lost Lake, Colorado. 

Moderate hike through a rocky trail. The route follows a section of Middle Boulder Creek. The lake is ~9,600 feet in elevation. We hiked over the 10,000 towards Bryan Mountain for the view of this photo. Total distance: ~6 miles. Aspens and fir forests. This lake is in Roosevelt National Forest and close to Eldora. Beautiful spot of Colorado.
