Hike in the Caribou Ranch

Trail trough the Caribou Ranch Open Space Area.
A well kept trail close to Nederland, Colorado. 

Nice place for a walk at the shadows of the Continental Divide. Two interconnected trails: DeLonde Trail (1.2 miles) and the Blue Bird Loop (1.8 miles). Great stops at the DeLonde Homestead, the Blue Bird Mine, and the North Boulder Creek. The hike began with rain and ended with beautiful weather. Crossed a herd of elks. Magnificent animals.
