This shelter was before the summer cabin of a German immigrant named Francis Kirchhof. The banker and contractor from Denver used the house from the 1930s to the 1970s. The unused structure was later repurposed to picnic shelter. Great stop for snacks with amazing views while hiking in Mount Falcon.
