Close to a Great Egret

It came around in a circle. Slowly, the big white egret went for a prey hidden from our defective human eyes in the tall grass. I remained still, just moving the index finger to take the photos. The bird didn't fear me. It got so close that I could almost touch it. In a millisecond, a shook of its neck gave me this amazing picture.

Then the egret got its prey, an unfortunate small brown lizard. This happened in Everglades National Park.
