Mexican sunflower (Tithonia rotundifolia) grows in the range of 4 to 6 feet tall. Some of the plants have three lobed leaves and other not - no idea why. The underside of the leaves is hairy. Deadheading the spent flowers will prolong the blooming. In Spanish they are known as girasol mexicano, acahual rojo, o jalacate.
