Buena Vista has a stunning backdrop - “Buena Vista” means “Good View” in Spanish. Many “fourteeners” here. 15 in total, the most in any range of Colorado. Also has the Arkansas River. The names of the peaks are very educated: Princeton, Yale, Columbia, Harvard... There is also ​Mount Elbert with 14,440 ft elevation (4,401 m). “Sawatch” means “blue earth” in the Ute language. Many places for hiking, mountain biking, and rafting in this range. Added to my wish list for a future trip.
