South Meadows Campground in Pike National Forest

My campsite in South Meadows Campground in the fall of 2025. The north side of the camp was closed for the season. 

Six nights tent camping near Woodland Park, Colorado. Camp mostly empty this late in the fall. On arrival, I hit my bike rack with a tree. Bummer! My campsite - 33 - was pretty flat. Kudos to Jerry (the host) for keeping this place pristine. He makes my list of the ten best I’ve found in the last 15 years of camping. Pikes Peak Ranger District should take good care of him.
