The Wild Basin Area of Rocky Mountain National Park

Ouzel Waterfall in Rocky Mountain National Park.
Ouzel waterfall is the biggest one.

This is the least visited area of the park. Just a narrow dirt road with limited parking. The hike began from the Wild Basin Trailhead under coldness and a light rain. Stripes of snow still on the high peaks. Visited the three waterfalls: Copeland Falls on North St. Vrain Creek, Calypso Cascades on Cony Creek, and Ouzel Falls on Ouzel Creek. Total distance hiked: ~7 miles. Elevation gain of 950 feet at Ouzel Falls (elevation over sea level: 9,384 ft).
