| My tents in the Peaceful Valley Campground, Colorado. |
Good campsite on the banks of Middle Saint Vrain Creek. Elevation: ~8,500 feet. Roosevelt National Forest. This is Middle Saint Vrain Creek canyon in an area that once was a stop for the Ward-Estes Park stage run.
It was the Wildcat Gulch until rebranded by John T. Roberts in 1908 as a
peaceful vacation resort. I got some Saudi neighbors. Loud and friendly, they
shared some food with us (a Muslim custom). Delicious Arab dishes.
