Lawn Lake Trail

We hit the trail at 8:45 am. Trailhead is on the Old Fall River Road @ 8,500 feet elevation. The plan was to walk up to the point where Ypsilon Creek joins the Roaring River (~9,500 feet elevation). We found no good views of the creek there. Looks like the old trail was cut off by landslides. We walked a piece of the old segment searching for views of the creek. No luck. On the way back, we took the Ypsilon Lake Trail and crossed the log bridge over the Roaring River (mostly a creek). Beautiful spot. The total distance walked ~6 miles.
