Deer Mountain Trail

7:45 am at the road junction where the small trailhead is located. Got the last parking spot. Breakfast in the truck. Cold morning.  Amazing views of the snow topped mountains from this trail. Down there, a sleepy Estes Park, Mary’s Lake, and Moraine Park. Deer Mountain summit elevation: over 10,000 feet. Another great hike in Rocky Mountain National Park. Beautiful Colorado.
