Closed Old Fall River Road in September

Old Fall River Road is an historic route built between 1913 and 1920.

Bummer! The idea was to drive up to the Alpine Visitor Center of Rocky Mountain National Park, but the road was closed to vehicles. Bad weather in previous days. Stop for lunch at the Endovalley Picnic Area (before was a campground) and went up on foot to visit Chasm Falls (~3 miles roundtrip). Very picturesque road for us alone.
