Buit in 1943 when Miami-Dade was Dade County and the Bayfront Park was used by the US Navy. Just a wall with an arch and a column topped with an eagle. A simple monument to the local soldiers fallen in WW2. Over 500 names. Just a few people stop by. Forgotten heroes.
