The Mother of Miami

I met her in Bayfront Park. She came from Ohio when Miami was Fort Dallas (remember the Indian wars of the 1800s). Ended owning big chunks of land of what is now the downtown on the north side of the Miami River. Later, she gave some to Henry Flagler in exchange for the railroad. Miami was born in 1896. Her life ended with a large amount of debt. Now she got a statue. Worthy?
