Night Hike on the Biggest Dunes of North America

Star Dune is the tallest in North America. Another mountain of sand pilling on the Sangre de Cristo Range for ten thousand years. A night walk brings me closer to the universe. Theater of time with amazing roof of bright stars over ocean waves in negative. The cold, the wind, the rumbling sound of mini avalanches of sand. Hits in the face by the force of hundred granular dots (unpleasant stuff). My footprints are gone. Like if I never existed. Clean slate for the next traveler. Emptiness and nothingness.
